The sire of my Galaxy is her color, and won best red dog at the national one year.
As long as she's got enough pigment- she IS a red, just a diluted red. Personally I love the chinchilla dilute Cardigans, as long as they aren't completely cream :)
It's OK Juniper, little Bryan definitely speaks to me. He's a little sweetie and seems to be coming into his own a bit more in these pictures.
Fair Warning: That little Iris has the same spitfire look in her eye as my girl Denali. Believe me, the world may not be ready for two! :-)
I can't believe how big they are now. It truly IS astonishing how fast they grow and change during this first phase of their lives. You're doing a wonderful job with them Meagan!
Oh, I forgot the theme moved on to trees...Ok so "Rosewood" is an obvious choice. Or perhaps something like "Heartwood Yew" from which the welsh made longbows...and Yew is native to the cascades. How about "Yew Stinker"?? Okay that's a bad one but funny just the same!
I'd be willing to try to show Iris. You've seen my skirt chasing dog in the ring, I can't exactly take myself that seriously and she's just so purdy. Where do I keep her is the question??
I'll just go hug my blue dogs and be done with it...sigh

Eee! I just love little Iris' color so much. All are beautiful, and those Wally clones crack me up :)
They grow SO fast...
Bryan is a real buddy in the making I can tell, but it's Iris that's really got me...what a b-e-a-utiful girl!!!
Think we can pass her off as a red?
;-)
Well, technically she IS red, but is she showable?
According to the Phi-Vestavia page on Cardigan colors, as long as her nose is dark, she CAN be shown. Is this correct?

Wow I'm hiring you to come take pictures of my litter! What great photos for that age. :)
Iris is gonna make you think, I see. I like Franklin too although hard to see his rear. Nice pups!
Yea meg, who DOES your photos?
I have my wonderful husband to thank for getting such good photos of the babies. He has a great eye at waiting for the right moment to snap the pic.
Thank you honey!
So who is coming to see the puppies???
I want to see them!!! Just make sure I don't walk out with Iris under my coat! heehee
I'd do ANYTHING to get away from Spokane in the Winter...even come visit puppies!
Yeah and you can take a few back with you when you leave. 10 puppies are LOUD and stinky. (No matter how often I clean the puppy box...)
Arrrgghh!
Yeah, so when are evaluations?

I hope you take Iris, Juniper! Then I can stop lusting after her, but still see her! LOL

I like your suggestions Juniper. LOL!
Sweet puppy faces, what a treat! Hope and Josie just tug at my heart, Albus and Bryan, too. Love them puppers.
