Wally x Hannah Puppies Week 3

First off, please forgive the crappy quality of the photos. Trying to capture wiggly puppies indoors on a dark, rainy day is hard. If I used the flash, the camera was too slow reloading and it was unlikely that I would get any decent poses. So we tried to improvise by directing a lamp without the shade at the puppies to get enough light. The result is a weird color in all the photos. Oh well. You can still see the puppies well enough.

Three of the puppies are getting copious amounts of coat. I suspect both the pinks and Colbert, the biggest blue boy may be fluffs. But I'm not that experienced at picking them out. I just know that they have a lot more hair than their litter mates.

So without further ado, here they are!

Okey dokey. Sending pupppy breath your way...

So is it just me, or is anyone else drooling over Franklin? I do NOT need a boy dog, buy he sure is lookin' good. (Not that you can tell all that much at this age, but still...) He just so darn flashy and such a moooosh.

I'm actually drawn to Albus for some reason.... :) But they're all uh-door-uh-bull!!!!! :)

Boy and a girl puppy?

Franklin is really striking.

Iris looks like a fluff, can't tell about the others yet. Look for curls on the ears first.

It's usually around 4 weeks that I start to suspect.

And I start feeling for jewels on the boys at 3 weeks. Need a how-to, or did we show you?

Ha ha Mandy. You're funny. Are you going to convince my husband?

Haven't felt for jewels yet. Never was very good at that. You can email a refresher privately.

It seems like a lot of the puppies have waves on the backs of their ears. I hope that doesn't mean we're going to end up with a whole lotta fluffs!!!

If there are fluffs though, it's nice when it's combined with another issue -- like a missing jewel or funny color or mismark. So, here's hoping . . .

Boy are they cute little guys.

Ok, if I am doing it correctly, I feel two jewels in all the boys except Duncan. I can only find one on him. But it's still early, right?

It's still early for jewels, I wouldn't worry until 8-10 weeks if they aren't there by that point.

They actually all look pretty nice for guinea pigs. :D Sooooo cute!! I'm getting serious puppy fever.

Aaaagh! Creamy fluffs!!! You're killing me...I'm going to have to start working on convincing someone I know that they need one. Flirt is getting old, she needs a baby to raise right? I'll start there.

I know. The pink girl is seriously cute already and she's one of the spunky ones.

I keep finding myself picking her up...Nooooooo...no more pets. Show girl only!

8-10 weeks...no jewels...pet home... Too many breeds think slow dropping is ok and look at the problem pemmies have had.
